Short Bio

Licia Proserpio is Research and Internationalization Manager at the University of Bologna Department of History and Cultures where she supports the development and management of competitive research and teaching projects with particular reference to the European frameworks (Erasmus +, EuropeAid, Horizon Europe). Since 2012, she has held management and research roles in more than twenty EU funded projects, including:

- WALADU (waladu.unibo.it), EDUU (eduu.unibo.it) and BANNU (banuu.unibo.it) that gave her the opportuny to conduct public engagement and community engagement activities on archaeological issues in Iraq;

- E-QUAL dedicated to university access and academic governance in India;

- CHINLONE (www.unibo.it/chinlone), focused on supporting the university reform underway in Myanmar.

She is currently enrolled in the PhD Course in Global Histories, Politics and Cultures. As a PhD student, she is conducting extended fieldwork in Myanmar aimed at analyzing the impact of student movements on the national political and educational landscape.
