Lia Marchi is an Architect and Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna, where she received her PhD in 2020. Her research focuses on the energy transition of the built environment, users' behavioural change, building assessment and certification systems, energy efficiency and the renovation of residential buildings, and the application of circular economy principles to the construction sector.
