Curriculum vitae

Lia Ferrari received her PhD on March 2020 at the University of Parma, Italy. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the emergency management for securing Cultural Heritage damaged by earthquake, with specific emphasis on first-aid interventions on masonry churches and bell towers. She is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Parma, in the Department of Engineering and Architecture. She is member of SIRA (Italian Society for Architectural Restoration) and MADLAB (Laboratory for Monitoring, Analysis and Diagnostic of existing buildings). Her main research interests include conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, analysis and diagnostics on historical buildings, risk assessment and strengthening interventions of masonry structures.
