Leonardo Marino graduated in Cultural Heritage (2021) at the University of Bologna, where he also earned, with honors, a Master’s Degree in Archaeological, Artistic and Landscape Heritage: History, Protection and Enhancement (2025).
He is currently a PhD candidate at the same university, working on the topic “Archaeology, Anthropology and Science Communication: Strategies for Communicating and Enhancing the ERC Synergy Project Last Neanderthals”, scientifically coordinated by Prof. Stefano Benazzi. His research focuses on developing innovative approaches to disseminate and promote the results of studies on Neanderthal populations, integrating archaeological and anthropological methods with public engagement strategies.
