Leonardo De Deo

I am a PhD student in Astrophysics, carrying out my research in the field of Theoretical Astrophysics and, more specifically, in Galactic Dynamics.

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Astronomy in 2020, and a master’s degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology in 2022, both at the University of Bologna. Since 2017, I am also a member of Collegio Superiore/International-PhD College, an interdisciplinary institution of excellence of the University of Bologna.

I am currently one of the two coordinators of "Cosmic Roots", a project of inclusive scientific dissemination aimed at people with disabilities, developed in collaboration with Collegio Superiore and Associazione Volhand - Gruppo Volontari Handicap.

I like to consider my studies as a step towards a more aware society, integrating the two universes outside and inside of us.
