Leonardo Battista is a Researcher in Labour Law at the University of Bologna. He belongs to the Department of Sociology and Economic Law and was previously a Post-doc researcher at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Bologna from 2021 until March 2023. He received his PhD in European Law in 2021 from the University of Bologna. He is a member of the research unit of European and national projects as well as a Visiting researcher at Lund University and Universidad de Córdoba.
He is the author of the monograph 'Undeclared Work and the Role of the European Labor Authority,' published by Cacucci Editore, Bari, 2022 (italian).
Winner of the Prize in memory of Prof. Marco Biagi for the best Doctoral Thesis on labor law and industrial relations announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and ADAPT - Association for International and Comparative Studies on Labor Law and Industrial Relations.
