Laura Beatrice Mattioli is a Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, where she carries out teaching and research activities in the field of Food Chemistry and Nutraceuticals.
She holds a Ph.D. in “Health, Safety and Green Systems” and has conducted research abroad at Nova Southeastern University (Florida, USA) and Aix-Marseille Université (France).
Her research focuses on plant-derived bioactive compounds and nutraceutical products for the prevention of cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases, with particular attention to the valorization of agri-food by-products.
She is the author and co-author of scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and regularly participates as a speaker at national and international conferences on Food Chemistry and Nutraceuticals.
