Laura Tositti

Associated Professor in Environmental chemistry and radioactivity at the University of Bologna since 2005 (Habilitation as Full professor in 2019). My research activity is focussed on air pollution chemistry, climate change and environmental radioactivity. I have carried out a number of studies of source apportionment at several urban-industrial sites in italy and and at remote stations, like Antarctica and high elevation stations. Beside source apportionment, one of my peculiarities is to investigate complex mechanisms of pollution redistribution and accumulation based on atmospheric radiotracers both in the atmosphere and in depositional environments. I carry out my research both in the field of pure research (environmental chemistry and physics) and in support of governmental agencies and institutions; I serve as a consultant both for the public interest, in the field of environmental forensics, as well as for private companies .
