Guidelines for thesis candidates
Theses are supervised exclusively during office hours. Defining the topic and structure of the thesis, discussing the table of contents, reviewing the text and providing any other feedback require direct discussion and are therefore dealt with in person during agreed meetings.
Email may be used to send tables of contents, chapters and other materials to be discussed during meetings, but not to request assessments, corrections or guidance on the work. Documents sent will therefore normally be examined and discussed together during the meeting, not via email correspondence.
