Laura Bellinato is a PhD student in Literary and Philological Cultures at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on the evolution of writing systems in Crete during the Late Bronze Age. This work is conducted as part of the FIS SAPIENCE, Symbols, preliteracy and code evolution
She got her master degree in Philology, Literature and Classical Tradition at the University of Bologna, with thesis titled Mycenaean perfume industry during the Late Bronze Age. In July 2024 she joined the INSCRIBE team to focus on the undeciphered signs in the Linear B tablets related to the perfume industry and the recreation of the Mycenaean perfumed oil.
