Isabella Casadei

Environmental Engineer (ICAR/01), PhD candidate in the Future Earth Climate Change and Societal Challenges Program since 2023, previously Research Fellow in Sanitary Engineering since 2022. At the University of Bologna, she conducts her research in hydraulic engineering, with a focus on maritime hydraulics. Her research interests focus on the interaction between waves, currents, and submerged structures in coastal areas. Her current research focuses on the hydrodynamic and morphodynamic modeling of the oyster reef for the LIFE NatuReef project using the open-source code XBeach and the Delft3D suite.
