Irene Calvi is a PhD student in Visual Arts and Fashion Studies at the Department of Arts, University of Bologna (XXXVIII cycle), where her research explores the intersection of fashion and museum interpretation, with a focus on the integration of emerging technologies. Her doctoral research was within the PNRR project
1.04 Digital Services for Made in Italy: Digital-twins for predictive models and to support the lifecycle of Fashion products of the Extended Partnership MICS - Made in Italy Circular and Sustainable. Actively engaged in fostering international scholarly networks, she serves on the Executive Committee of The Association of Dress Historians and is a Junior Fellow at the
International Research Centre CFC – Culture Fashion Communication. She also holds the role of
cultrice della materia (teaching assistant) for the course Fashion and Visual Culture in the master’s program in Fashion Studies at the University of Bologna – Rimini Campus.
