Inès Mourelon is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics of Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, affiliated with the BELIEFS ERC project led by Emanuele Campiglio. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Paris Dauphine University in 2025.

Her research focuses on macroeconomics, climate policy, uncertainty, and financial frictions. She studies how climate transition risks, policy uncertainty, and financial market imperfections shape firms’ investment decisions, sectoral reallocations, and macro-financial dynamics in the context of the transition to a low-carbon economy. Her work combines modeling and empirical analysis, with particular attention to climate-related financial stability and green transition.
