Training
Graduated in Industrial Chemistry (LM-71) in 2016 at the Department of Industrial Chemistry "Toso Montanari" of the University of Bologna, she obtained a PhD in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste in 2020.


Scientific activity
He has participated in numerous international research projects including: SUNSHINE (N. 952924) (from 01/01/2021), ASINA (N. 862444) (from 01/03/20), SAbyNA (N. 862419) (from 01/03/20), MIWINE (from 01/11/20), PATROLS (N. 760813) (from 01/01/18), BIORIMA (N. 760928) (from 01/11/17), PROTECT (N. 720851-2) (from 01/01/17) and NANOINFORMATIX (N. 814426) (from 01/01/19) within the research areas of safe-by-design and nano-safety.


Membership in scientific and editorial committees
Since 2020 she is president of the group of young researchers belonging to the European project ASINA (approx. 20 participants). Member of the coordination group of young researchers under the supervision of the Nano Safety Cluster. The group refers to ca. 112 participants, involving more than 10 European projects. Member of the scientific committee for the organization of the final conference of the European NanoCommons project, the Nanoweek2022, organized in Cyprus, June 20-24, 2022


Awards and acknowledgments


2019 - Winner of the Call for JRC Open Lab proposal (2019-1-RD-NanoBiotech) - access to the European laboratories and to the advice of the JRC of Ispra;


2018 - Winner of the European selection for the first nano-Olympiad "The First International Nanotechnology Olympiad" (INO 2018). Multi-step selection within international groups of young European researchers. https://statnano.com/event/1309


2017 - Winner of the Call NFFA.EU project (section I, year 2017) with the ID-298 project "Characterization of nanostructured luminescent textiles and their interaction with biological targets" - access to the facilities present within the NFFA project.
