Idio Guarino is an Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DISI) at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
He received his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in February 2024 and his M.S. degree in Computer Engineering in July 2020, both from the University of Napoli Federico II.
From 2024 to 2025, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher (Assegno di ricerca) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Verona.
His research interests focus on collecting and analyzing network traffic, specifically leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop innovative methodologies for modeling, classifying, and predicting network traffic.
