I am a member of the scientific board of experts advising the Fitzwilliam Museum on a major exhibition entitled "“Being an islander: Art and Identity of the large Mediterranean Islands” focusing on the cultural identities of the large Mediterranean islands from prehistory to the present day.

“Archipiélagos: Paisajes, comunidades prehistóricas insulares y estrategias de conectividad en el Mediterráneo occidental. El caso de las islas Baleares durante la prehistoria reciente (2500-123 BC)”. I am part of a network focusing on the physical and social connections established between prehistoric communities of archipelagos and islands, paying special attention to the case study of the Balearic Islands, and - by comparison - Sardinia and Corsica. My role in this research network is to advise on issues arising from the comparison between these islands, especially mobility, settlement, abandonment, and the development of islander identities.
