Guido Zavatta

Born in Bologna (Italy) on June 18, 1989, Guido Zavatta is a Medical Doctor, board-certified Endocrinologist, and Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Endocrinology at IRCCS S. Orsola Polyclinic – University Hospital of Bologna. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Bologna (2014) and completed his residency in Endocrinology at the University of Ferrara (2019). In 2020, he completed a 10-month fellowship in calcium and bone mineral metabolism at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA (Mentor: Prof. B.L. Clarke). He received his PhD on April 5, 2024. His research focuses on bone and mineral metabolism, calcium homeostasis, and parathyroid disorders. He is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (ISCD, 2020–2025). Go to the Curriculum vitae
