Guido Zavatta

Born in Bologna (IT) on 6-18-1989, Guido Zavatta is a medical doctor (MD) and endocrinologist and junior assistant professor in Endocrinology. He currently works at IRCCS S. Orsola Policlinic - University Hospital of Bologna. He carries out his clinical and research activity at the Endocrinology Unit (directed by Prof. U. Pagotto) of the Policlinico di S. Orsola IRCCS. He obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2014 at the University of Bologna, and a Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2019 at the University of Ferrara. In 2020 he trained as a visiting clinician and research trainee on calcium and bone mineral metabolism for a period of 10 months at the Mayo Clinic (Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition) Rochester, Minnesota, United States of America.(Mentor: Prof. B.L. Clarke, MD). He obtained a PhD degree on April 5, 2024. Research topics concern all aspects of bone mineral metabolism or calcium metabolism.
