My research focuses on hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation. One line of work concerns the use of marginal organs and donation after circulatory death (DCD) grafts with normothermic regional perfusion (NRP), with particular attention to donor risk stratification and recipient outcomes. A second line concerns minimally invasive liver surgery and the multimodal treatment of colorectal liver metastases. I am also interested in transplant oncology, particularly the indication for transplantation in oncologic patients and the follow-up of recipients.
