My research interests are centered on television seriality and gender studies, with a particular focus on the representation of queerness and the LGBTQIA+ community in media. I pay special attention to the portrayal of Italian identity in both national and international productions.
In my previous work, I explored gender marketing through a comparative study between Italian and American television, employing SEO techniques as a methodological approach. Additionally, I have focused on Disability Studies, examining their representation in French cinema.
Currently, I am delving into Italian seriality, investigating its reception both in Italy and internationally. I am particularly focused on streaming platforms, conducting a specific study on the production dynamics and marketing strategies used by Netflix, Prime Video, and RaiPlay.
