Giuseppe Savioli is Professor of Business Administration and
Lecturer of Accounting, Business Combinations, Consolidated
Financial Statements and "Business Crisis Management" at
Bologna University (Campus of Forlì).
At the same Campus, he is Dean of the Course in Economics and
Business, Magister Degree.
Since Academic Year 2003/2004 up to present, he is the director
of the Accounting area within the Master in Administration, Finance
and Control of Alma Graduate School, Bologna University, where he
teaches Business Administration.
He is member of the Professors Commission, Ph.D. Course in
Economics and Management of Public Sector Organizations, Department
of Business Research and Studies, University of Salerno.
He is member of the AIDEA (“Accademia Italiana di Economia
Aziendale”) Research Group focused on local public services.
He has been member of the Study Commission of the National
Council of Professional Accountants "Scission and Mergers" for the
carrying out of the III (mergers) and IV (scission) European
Directive, and for the study of relative economic, corporate,
accountant, juridical and fiscal problems.
He coordinated the local unit (University of Bologna, Forlì
Campus) as regards to the Research Project of National Interest
(PRIN) 2005-2008 entitled: “Perspectives of Harmonization of
Accounting in Small and Medium Enterprises: the Effects of
International Accounting Standards and of Basel 2 Arrangement on
Capital Requirement of Banks” (inside the National Project
coordinated by Professor Mariniello Lina Fernanda entitled:
“Perspectives of harmonization of Accounting in Small and Medium
Enterprises: the effects of International Accounting Standards and
of Basel 2 Arrangement on capital requirement of banks”).
