Full professor at the University of Bologna since 2010, he carries out his research in the field of veterinary oncology focusing to the development of 3D in vitro models and the study of the intratumoral immune microenvironment. He collaborates with research groups external to DIMEVET in translational medicine investigations with the use of mouse models for which he guarantees anatomohistopathological support.

Didactic activity
He helds the courses of Pathologic Anatomy II and Biosecurity in intensive pig farming in the degree course of Veterinary Medicine.
