Giuseppe Ramacieri

Dr. Ramacieri carries out his research in the Specialist Clinic of Neonatology of IRCCS Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Policlinic of Bologna (DIMEC) and in the Operative office of Histology, Embryology and Apllied Biology (DIBINEM) - University of Bologna within the project “Correlazione tra genotipo e fenotipo nella trisomia 21 (sindrome di Down)”, approved by independent ethics comittee (IEC).
His scientific research on the study of trisomy 21 is particularly focused on the analysis of correlations between clinical data (signs and comorbidities associated with the syndrome), laboratory data and also cognitive data, which are collected with the collaboration of the University of Padua. The aim is to highlight any correlation between the genotype (the presence of three copies con chromosome 21) and the fenotype (Down syndrome). Go to the Curriculum vitae
