Short Bio

Giuseppe De Luca is a PhD student at the Department of Psychology of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. His research interests are mainly related to school psychology topics, such as learning processes and school well-being. His research activity is mainly focused on the study of social relations within the school context, and the impact of these on executive functions and general school performance. He is carrying out his doctoral project entitled The significance of Peer Relationships for Executive Functions and Learning Outcomes at the University of Bologna in cooperation with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) and the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt (DIPF). He also works as a research assistant at KU Leuven following a project named The effect of Teacher-Student Interactions on Executive Functions development: A Cross-Cultural Investigation.
