Giulia Raffaella De Luca

My research activity, that takes place in the AI for Medicine Research Group, focuses on the applications of artificial intelligence in the medical field, particularly in lung cancer screening. Previously, I held a Research Scholarship with the title “Archive of CT Images and Evaluation of Diagnostic Support Systems for Lung Cancer Screening” at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering “Guglielmo Marconi” (DEI) of the University of Bologna, with Professor Stefano Diciotti as supervisor. I graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering on March 16, 2023, from the University of Bologna, presenting a thesis entitled “Patient Stratification in Lung Cancer Screening using SmileGAN”, supervised by Professor Stefano Diciotti.
