Keywords: High energy astrophysics Gamma-ray astrophysics X-ray astrophysics Pulsars Pulsar Wind Nebulae Pulsar halos

My research focuses on high energy astrophysics (X-ray and gamma rays), in particular on the study of pulsars and their associated phenomena, pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) and pulsar halos (or TeV halos).

Pulsars:

  • Analysis of gamma ray pulsars observed with Cherenkov telescopes
  • Analysis and modelling of the phaseogram and spectrum

Pulsar Wind Nebulae:

  • Analysis, both morphological and spectral, of PWNe in the X-ray band using XMM-Newton, Chandra and NuSTAR data
  • Analysis and modelling of the multi-wavelength spectral emission, from radio to gamma rays

Pulsar halos:

  • Search for the X-ray counterparts of pulsar halos through the analysis of diffuse X-ray emission with XMM-Newton data
