Giulia Bencini is a linguist specializing in English Language and Linguistics. Her research lies at the interface of Usage-Based Construction Grammar, Cognitive Linguistics, and experimental psycholinguistics, investigating how language experience shapes the acquisition, mental representation, and real-time processing of linguistic constructions. Integrating theoretical, experimental, and observational approaches, she examines the representation and processing of English across first, second, and additional language contexts, including multilingual interaction, interpreting, and linguistic mediation.
