He received his Baccalaureate in Theology and a Licentiate in Theology of Evangelization at the Academic Theological Studio of Bologna, associated with the Saint Thomas Aquinas Theological Faculty in Rome. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree and a Licentiate in Christian Archeology from the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archeology. He also obtained a Master's Degree in History, Protection and Conservation of Art at the Faculty of Cultural Heritage of Bologna, Ravenna headquarters. Engaged in the research of artistic heritage with particular attention to the Christian iconographic tradition, he is the curator of exhibitions and conferences; has numerous articles and essays to his credit. He teaches at the Higher Institutes of Religious Sciences in Forlì, Rimini, Florence and Arezzo, where he teaches Christian iconography. For the Diocese of Faenza-Modigliana he holds the positions of deputy director of the Diocesan Museum and Library.
