Giovanni Bellucci obtained his PhD. in Analysis and Design of Architecture and Territory SSD ICAR18 - History of Architecture in 2012 and his MSc. degree in Building Engineering-Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona. Her research mainly focuses on the history of contemporary architecture with particular reference to the Italian and Swedish context and the relationship between architecture and engineering.
Adjunct professor since 2014 in several degree courses at the Faculty of Engineering, Ancona, he has published volumes, essays and contributions in proceedings of national and international conferences. A member of the editorial board of the journal «Studi e ricerche di storia dell'architettura» and «HPA - Histories of Postwar Architecture», in 2022 he was awarded the Bruno Zevi Prize for an essay on the history of architecture focusing on the work of Swedish architects Sven Backström and Leif Reinius.
