Short Bio

Adjunct professor in "Agricultural Zoology Applied to Plant Defense" and "Bioecology in Therapeutic Gardens", he is a research technician at the University of Bologna, specialized in Urban Agriculture and Entomology. His research activities focus on agroecology and bioecological relationships in agro-ecosystems. Specifically, he works on projects related to agro-ecology and urban biodiversity within the Municipality of Bologna, research on plant-insect relationships, and simplified soilless cultivation systems. He is the technical coordinator of the research laboratory: Research Center in Urban Environment for Agriculture and Biodiversity (ResCUE-AB Lab) at the University of Bologna. He has participated in several European projects, including FoodE: "Food Systems in European Cities" - HORIZON 2020, and international cooperation projects on food security. Additionally, he provides training for adults (citizens and farmers) and high school students.
