Giovanni Agostinis

Giovanni Agostinis received a Ph.D in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris and the IMT School for Advanced Studies (double degree). He holds a Master of Science in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford. Between 2017 and 2022, Giovanni was an Assistant Professor at the Instituto de Ciencia Política of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He held research fellowships at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA) and the Instituto de Políticas y Bienes Públicos of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC).    

His research focuses on the study of global and regional governance processes and structures, centering on the analysis of the institutional design and the performance of international organizations. His work has been published in international journals such as the European Journal of International Relations, Review of International Studies, International Studies Review, Governance, Review of International Political Economy, and Journal of Common Market Studies.
