Giorgio Naim

PhD candidate in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences (SSD IIND-07/A) at the University of Bologna since 2024, he carries out research and teaching support activities in the field of building energy efficiency and dynamic simulation of building–system interaction. He earned his Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering from the same university in 2024 and was awarded a PhD scholarship for a project focused on modeling occupant behavior using stochastic methods and machine learning techniques.

In 2024, he was granted a research fellowship within the HELIOS project, contributing to the development of Digital Twin models for a student residence managed by ERGO. He collaborates on the development of the ALMABuild simulation tool and has presented his research at international scientific conferences such as the Carnot User Meeting 2025 in Bayreuth (DE) and CLIMA25 in Milan (IT).
