Master Degree in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology in 2015 at the University of Bologna, he atteined its PhD in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences in 2019.
Assistant Professor from 2023 in the lab of prof. Elisabetta Ciani at the University of Bologna, he carries out his research in the field of Neurobiology. In particular, his research interests are aimed to the study of the rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder, the CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder (CDD).
He currently focuses his research on the development of new therapies for the treatment of CDD.
