Graduated in Physical Education (1977, 110 et Isef of Bologna with honors). Graduated in Sport Technique and Practice (1989, School of Sport Rome with 70 et cum laude). Graduated specialization (1990, Ministry of Public Education with 30/30). Degree in Pedagogy (1992, University of Bologna 110 et cum laude). Degree in Sociology (1996, University of Urbino with 106/110). Qualified to teach Physical Education (1983). Professor role in Physical Education (1984). Researcher sector M-EDF/02 (2005, University of Bologna).

Curriculum
From 1995 to 1998 teaching assistant of the Chair of Swimming, diving and rescue ISEF in Bologna. From 1998 to 2001 Aggregate Professor of the Chair of Theory, Technology and Teaching of swimming disciplines at the ISEF in Bologna. From 2002 to 2004 Aggregate Professor of Swimming Activities (degree) in the Faculty of Medicine of Padova. Since 2004 Aggregate Professor of Swimming Activities (degree) at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Bologna. Since 2005 Aggregate Professor of Science and Technology of Swimming Sport (degree) at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Bologna.

Curriculum technical-sports
Since 1990 Coach of Swimming and Water Polo Federal. From 1994 to 2000 the Federal Technical Staff Member of the Italian Swimming Federation: National Team men's water polo: 1st class. European Championships in Vienna (1995), 3rd class. Atlanta Olympics (1996), 5th class. European Championships in Seville (1997), 4th class. World Championships in Perth (1998)

 

Research
Biomechanics of human movement in the aquatic environment and study of performance in swimming sports. Currently its production of more than 100 scientific papers published in scientific journals, international, national and international conferences.
