Giorgia Ravaioli

Giorgia Ravaioli is a PhD Student in Photography and Visual Culture at the University of Bologna (XXXVI cycle). Her research interests focus on feminist photography, photographic sedimentations, and the photographic archive as a theoretical object, specifically in the post-digital era. Since 2018 she has collaborated with the Master DTFC of the University of Bologna. Since 2020, she has been Junior Fellow of the International Research Centre CFC - Culture Fashion Communication and Fellow of the Research Centre FAF - Fotografia Arte Femminismo. Since 2022, she has been a member of the GAA - Global Art Archive Grupo de Investigación of the University of Barcelona. Since May 2023 she has been a visiting researcher within the Uncertain Archives and INTERSECT research hubs at the University of Copenhagen ( Department of Arts and Cultural Studies).
She is now part of the research group at work on the national research project “IFP (Italian Feminist Photography)” (winner of PRIN 2020) Go to the Curriculum vitae
