July 2016: degree in Biotechnology at Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna, with final mark 110/110 cum laude. Supervisor Professor Giampaolo Zuccheri, co-supervisor Chiara Barattini. Thesis performed at AcZon S.r.l., Bologna; thesis title "Evaluation of localisation and toxicity of fluorescent silica nanoparticles on human tumor cell lines".

July 2013: Scientific High School Diploma at Liceo Scientifico A. Righi, Bologna, with final mark 92/100.
