She completed a PhD in Literary and Philological Cultures (38th cycle – PNRR scholarship) at the FICLIT Department of the University of Bologna, with a project devoted to the study of discourse properties, i.e., coherence and cohesion—in cognitive decline, with the aim of defining and formalizing Digital Linguistic Biomarkers to support the early diagnosis of dementia.
She is currently a postdoctoral researcher on the FIS project SAPIENCE: Symbols, Preliteracy and Code Evolution (PI Prof. Silvia Ferrara). Her work focuses on studying, through analytical and experimental methods, the cognitive processes that supported the creation and evolution of graphic codes.
