Gian Paolo Vacca

"Primo ricercatore" of INFN since 2019. His research activity cover the area of theoretical physics. After being a postdoctoral researcher (1998-2001) at the Hamburg University and subsequently  at  the University of Bologna for 2 years he became INFN researcher in 2004.

He has broad research interests which cover for example

- formal aspects of Quantum field Theories and the applications to the high energy physics phenomenology as well as condensed matter

- gravitational theories and cosmology

He is involved in national and international collaborations.
