Gianluca Gentile was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1999. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in July 2022 and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in July 2025 from the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. He is currently a Research Assistant at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. As a member of the Power Electronic Circuits and Photovoltaics group (SOLARTRONIC), his research focuses on power converters for wired and wireless charging of electric vehicles through trolleybus infrastructure.
