Postdoctoral Researcher in Aerospace and Planetary Sciences at the Radio Science and Planetary Exploration Laboratory, University of Bologna.
His research focuses on radar and remote sensing techniques for probing the surfaces of icy bodies in the Solar System, in the context of both past (Cassini, NASA) and ongoing (JUICE, ESA; Europa Clipper, NASA; Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, NASA) space missions.
His two main projects involve the analysis of Cassini bistatic radar experiments over the solid and liquid surfaces of Titan, and the investigation of the Martian polar caps using radargrams acquired by the SHAllow RADar (SHARAD) onboard MRO.
