Keywords: literary translation Juan José Millás translation process stylistics

His main fields of research are Spanish language and stylistics applied to translation.

Currently, his work focuses on the literary macro-text of the Spanish author Juan José Millás and the analysis of the value system encoded in his novels and short stories. The main objective is to trace the evolution of the symbolic and linguistic system in the writer's macrotext, through the analysis of stylistic traits, worldmaking processes and the coinage of new linguistic expressions.

In the field of Translation, his research deals with the problems related to the process of rephrasing creative literary expressions and linguistic innovations into Italian. This also includes the role of the translator both as reader and as a creative agent, the analysis of the relationships between the actors in the publishing context and the mutual influences between personal biography, work environment and ideologies.

Another field of interest is the investigation of the perception of literary style and authorial (author-translator) voices in the reception context of the translated text.
