Graduated in Science for the Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna, she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Cultural and Environmental Heritage at the University of Bologna with a project entitled New perspectives in the authentication of easel paintings. Reliability and innovation in the institution (Supervisor: Prof. Mariangela Vandini; Co-supervisor: Prof. Eugenio Bortolini).
Since 2016, she has been carrying out her research activity at the Diagnostic Laboratory for Cultural Heritage of the University of Bologna (Ravenna campus), where she has deepened her knowledge of invasive and non-invasive analytical techniques for the investigation of painting materials and artistic techniques.
She is co-author of several scientific contributions (monographs, catalogues, and papers in scientific journals) focusing on Technical Art History, chemical diagnostics for cultural heritage, and artists’ painting techniques from the 15th to the 20th century.
