Curriculum vitae

Education
Obtained a Master’s Degree in Physics with a focus on electronic-cybernetics in 2007 from the University of Bologna.

Scientific Activity
Collaborated from December 2007 to December 2015 with the Medical Imaging Group of the Department of Physics at the University of Bologna.

Main areas of interest:

  • Debugging, optimization, and algorithmic contributions to a CAD (Computer Aided Detection) system for lung nodule detection

  • Analysis of results from High Energy Physics experiments related to rapidity, aimed at studying the possibility of phase transitions towards the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) in proton-proton collisions, in collaboration with the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN

  • Application of genetic algorithms to the deconvolution of distributions in High Energy Physics experiments

Professional Experience
Since 2018, has been working on Business Intelligence systems based on Qlik technology, mainly for public and private healthcare, at Onit S.p.A. - Analytics, focusing on development, administration, and integrations.

Since June 2024, has taken on the role of Tech Lead for these technologies, providing mentoring and support to the Analytics area.

Develops data analysis systems in R and Python, works on cloud data architectures, and manages migrations from on-premises systems to cloud environments.

As a member of the Cross-Functional Technology Group, contributes to and promotes company-wide best practices and maintains a focus on GenAI solutions, considering productivity, security, privacy, and ethics.

Previously, since graduation, worked as a Java developer on Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
