Fulvio Bertuccelli

Fulvio Bertuccelli graduated from the Faculty of Arab-Islamic Mediterranean Studies from the University of Naples "L'Orientale", holds a PhD in "Turkey Iran and Central Asia" and pursues his research activities in the field of Turkish and Middle Eastern Studies. His research interests focus mainly on the History pf the Political Thought, nation-building and memory politics in the Middle Eastern context with special attention to Turkey. He translated several Turkish works from Turkish to Italian. At the moment his research focuses on the ottoman past as heritage functional to the construction of the political identity of the Islamic-inspired movements.
