I received my education in Physics at the University of Trento (2008–2014) and earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bologna in 2018. I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Chemistry “Toso Montanari” at the University of Bologna, where I am a member of the C2χ Computational Physical Chemistry group. My research focuses on the theoretical investigation of excited-state properties in isolated molecules and multichromophoric systems, both in the gas phase and in complex environments. I am particularly interested in the simulation of a wide range of spectroscopic techniques, spanning linear and nonlinear spectroscopy across the visible/ultraviolet (VIS/UV) to X-ray spectral regions.
