Francesco Santi

PhD student in Sciences of the Earth, Life, and Environment (38° cycle), under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Chiarucci, and the co-supervision of Dr. Riccardo Tesolin and Dr. Piero Zannini. His research deals with the study of the ecological dynamics of small islands (site.unibo.it/resmile/en), with focus on plant communities of Mediterranean islands.
In his PhD project he is leading an international research group aiming at assessing the effects of climate change on plant biodiversity of small Mediterranean islands, by resurveying their vegetation after at least 30 years.
