Francesco Prignoli is a PhD student in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility at the Universities of Bologna and Modena and Reggio Emilia. His main research topics include:
- Motion planning and control for autonomous racing
- Safe motion planning for autonomous vehicles in complex urban environments
- Constrained optimization applied to autonomous driving algorithms
In addition to his doctoral studies, Prignoli is a Motion Planning and Control Engineer with Unimore Racing, contributing to autonomous racing competitions such as the Indy Autonomous Challenge and the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League.
