My research interests cut across political geography and the geography of migration, in close dialogue with postcolonial theory and black studies. I am currently a research fellow in the ERC Advanced Grant “TheGame: Counter-mapping informal refugee mobilities along the Balkan Route” . Within the TheGame project, I focus on the subjective experiences and embodied memories of the Balkan Route, with particular attention to the Hungarian context. I also critically engage with the politics of representation of people on the move along the Route within the humanitarian field (NGOs, international agencies, etc.).
