Born in Fossombrone (Italy) in 1994, he obtained a Bachelor's degree (2016) and a Master's degree (2018) in Physics at Bologna University, both with grade 110/110 cum Laude. In 2023, he received a PhD in Physics (XXXV cycle) at Bologna University, in the group of Applied Physics for Biology and Health, under the supervision of prof. Remondini.
He is working with Artificial Intelligence and Complex Networks to leverage social, biological and genomic data. The application fields he is focused on include the surveillance of the evolution of infectious diseases and the discussion about health related topics on Twitter. Recently, he is interested in Natural Language Processing methods applied to online social networks (Twitter) and protein sequences.
