Francesco Decataldo

Junior assistant professor (fixed-term) at the University of Bologna. After the Master Thesis in Condensed Matter Physics he achieved the PhD in Physics at the University of Bologna (2020), which included a 6-month secondment at the University of Cambridge. From march 2023 he is a Junior Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences working on occupational and environmental safety & health. He has an active collaboration with the Department of Physics and Astronomy on organic bioelectronics and polymer physics. In details, he focuses on electronic and atomic force microscopy together with the study of innovative material properties and electronical devices based on conducting polimers for biosensing applications.
