Francesco Carenini holds a PhD in Physics and is a researcher at the INFN – Bologna Division, specialising in experimental astroparticle physics, with a particular interest in multi-messenger studies involving neutrinos. He is a member of the KM3NeT Collaboration, where he works on the search for cosmic sources of neutrinos with the KM3NeT/ARCA detector, focusing on detector calibration, event reconstruction, and the development and application of neutrino data analysis strategies.
He is also alumnus of the International Ph.D. College of the University of Bologna and author of the dissemination Podcast It's Not Rocket Science.
